Google has announced the update in its chrome OS.Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at net books.Google Chrome OS has been based on Cloud Computing technology.

Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction.("The NIST Definition of Cloud Computing (Draft)". National Institute of Science and Technology. Retrieved 24 July 2011.).

The most eye catching feature in Google Chrome is the Citrix Receiver support.
What you can do with Citrix Receiver:
• Access your applications and Windows desktop at your office, home, or on the road.
• Keep your information stored on your provider’s secure servers, not on your device.
• Move from desktop to tablet to smartphone.

Citrix Receiver for Windows and >Citrix Receiver for Mac are software clients that run on laptops, desktops, Macs and netbooks – turning any device into a powerful business tool to access virtual applications and desktops. With Receiver installed on a device, IT can rapidly deliver virtual desktops, applications and IT services people need to do their jobs more productively. Receiver for Windows now offers single sign-on capability, enhanced HDX audio and video and seamless integration with XenApp and XenDesktop.  Citrix Receiver for Mac, available directly from the Mac App Store, will offer support for the upcoming Lion Mac OS (when made available by Apple) and fully integrated HDX enhancements.
